Horror-themed escape game for single players

Psychopathics is a classic escape game that requires players to navigate through a large mansion. Similar to other platforms, such as Escape the Backrooms, users will be confronted with a series of enemies along the way. The main intention is to leave the environment unharmed.

The main plot involves an individual who has become trapped within a dark and creepy environment. The character is then hunted by seven psychopathic clowns. Each clown has its own unique powers, and they become more difficult as the game progresses.

Tools of the trade

As is often the case with escape room games, players are provided with certain elements along the way. As well as a gun to kill the oncoming clowns, these include keys that unlock specific doors.

An expansive environment

Due to the size of the area that needs to be discovered, Psychopathics can also be considered somewhat of an exploration game. As there is no map overlay, navigation will be quite challenging at times. Players will sometimes come across documents known as "terror files" that have been placed at strategic locations. These are meant to reveal the secrets of the clowns.

Rather straightforward gameplay

Players who are new to the escape room genre may benefit from playing Psychopathics, as the premise and mechanics are relatively simple. Once the seven clowns have been eliminated, the character must search for a final key in order to escape from the building.

All of the necessary escape game fundamentals

With graphics somewhat similar to other games like Escape the Ayouwoki, Psychopathics offers a mixture of horror alongside short bursts of action. Nonetheless, this platform is certainly not as complicated as many other games within the genre, though it can be entertaining.
